Santa Kicks Off Christmas at LITE-FM with Stockings For You!

You've been asking us for weeks "When is the Christmas music coming to 107.9 LITE-FM" and believe me when I say it was THE hardest secret to keep!

But if I told you, then Santa would have put me on his naughty list and then none of you would've gotten your Christmas music! We couldn't have that, right?! Since Jen, Jeff, Delilah, and I were such good "kids" we made the nice list this year and Santa brought us a ton of stockings for us to gift to you as we kick off continuous Christmas favorites!

107.9 LITE-FM became the Treasure Valley's Official Christmas Music Station at 7:09 a.m. To celebrate we'll give away a stocking every hour to kick off your workday, get you through the grind and on the road to celebrate the first weekend of Christmas music 24/7! Here's a preview of what you can grab from underneath our tree today!

7 a.m.: Disney+ for a Year

We're not quite sure how you were able to resists the siren song of Disney+ when it launched on Tuesday, but it paid off for you! This stocking contains a $100 cash prize for you to use toward paying for a full year's subscription to Disney+. If your house is anything like mine, that means you'll be arguing over the smart TV you have it linked to. When that happens, escape to the other room and stream what you really want on your brand new Amazon Fire tablet!

8 a.m.: Cirque Musica: Holiday Wishes Date Night

Why go all the way to Vegas to see a Cirque show when there's one happening in your own backyard? Cirque Musica presents Holiday Wishes brings a holiday story to life in a full theatrical cirque event for the entire family! The show brings the world-renowned cast of Cirque Musica to Boise and includes with your favorite holiday hits all performed LIVE by a full symphony orchestra. It’s the perfect blend of acrobats, aerialists, hilarious hijinks and holiday cheer! This stocking includes a pair of tickets to the show at Century Link Arena on November 26 and a romantic stay in a deluxe room at the adjoining Grove Hotel thanks to our friends from Live Nation.

9 a.m.: Cactus Pete's Getaway

With all the shopping, decorating and baking you're going to be doing during the holiday season, your going to need a reason to unwind! What better reason than enjoying a holiday road trip to Cactus Pete's? This stocking includes a one night stay in the Diamond Peak Tower, two complimentary buffets and $40 in gas from the Jackpot Chevron to get you back home. Who knows? 10 a.m.: Boise State's Senior Night Celebration

How many times have we had a final home game of the season that didn't require us to bundle up in at least three layers and bring a heavy blanket with us? The weather for this weekend's final home game is going to be perfect! BSU still has New Year's Six dreams and needs to win the rest of their games to get there. They can't get there without the support of Bronco Nation, so we're putting you in the stands! This stocking includes two south end zone tickets and a complimentary parking pass for you to park at the LITE-FM studios free of charge. We're just a short walk down the Greenbelt from Albertsons Stadium!

11 a.m.: Mannheim Steamroller Experience

Somethings just go together: Peanut Butter and Jelly, Hamburgers and Fries...Mannheim Steamroller and Christmas. We've got two tickets for you to enjoy that last iconic pair at the Ford Idaho Center on December 10! 12 p.m.: Lauren Daigle's Girls Night Out

With as pretty as their store on Idaho Street in Downtown Boise is, we're not surprised that Megan and her team put together the prettiest stocking in the bunch.
