The Top Five Chinese Restaurants in Boise According to Yelp!
I was in the mood for something other than my typical Chicken Wings, Hamburger, Pizza, Taco fare, so I decided to try the Chinese restaurant down the street from my house. I probably should have checked the reviews first, because I was disappointed in every aspect of my meal. When I looked up Chinese food on Yelp, it seems that only five stand out in Boise. This is the list of those five so that you know where to go the next time you feel like changing it up.

#5 - Lucky Palace Chinese Restaraunt
8630 W. Overland Road
The opinions vary greatly from person to person at the Lucky Palace. For the most part, though, they are positive. Yelp gives them 3 1/2 stars, and the reviewers mention the Fried Shrimp and General's Chicken as the two top dishes.
#4 - Red Pavilion Mandarin Cuisine
1760 S. Meridian Road
Review after review of the Red Pavilion says that this is the best Chinese food in the Treasure Valley. Yelp gives them 4 stars, and with 255 reviews, you tend to think that rating is credible. The noodle dishes are a favorite here among the reviewers, and there were several comments about the rice balls.
#3 - Guang Zhou
7609 W. Overland Road
It seems that most people in Boise are trying to find somewhere to replace the Twin Dragons. For some, this has been that place. They offer gluten-free and even vegan options. You can even order food without MSG. The reviewers rave about the General's Chicken.
#2 - Yen Ching
305 N. 9th Street
The first three reviews mention the high regard for Yen Ching's Orange Chicken. Crab Rangoons and Potstickers also seem to be favorites. There were also several mentions of their cocktails being really good.
#1 - Wok-Inn Noodle
4912 Emerald Street
The interesting thing about the Wo-In Noodle is that none of the reviewers give them high marks for the dining area. People just rave about the food. Several reviewers make mention of the gentleman in the kitchen who makes the food to order.
