LITE-FM Welcomes The Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure 2017

LITE-FM is excited to welcome back the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure, May 13th, in Downtown Boise.  Join in on the 5k or 1 mile fun run/walk and help a great cause. 

Breast Cancer continues to take family and friends every year, but with your help, the fight against it continues.  Here are some things you might not know:

·        1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer
·        87% of those diagnosed have NOT had a history of breast cancer in their family
·        2000 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States this year
·        The 5 year survival rate for those who are diagnosed early – 98%!!!!! Early detection is the different for many, and that's what Race For The Cure is all about.
