According to a recent survey about mental health, over half of Americans expected Election Day 2020 to be the single most stressful day of their lives. 

The survey, conducted by OnePoll, revealed that while 63% of respondents feel that the pandemic is what's causing most of their anxiety, a good 49% said the election and coverage surround it has been the most stressful part of 2020. Between the two, people are losing sleep, are unable to focus and have let control of their weight get away from them.

Barbarian Brewing Downtown Tap Room | 5 Stars

1022 W Main, Boise

Barbarian Brewing opened in Garden City in 2015 and quickly grew in popularity, leading to this second taproom in Downtown Boise. Reviewers were big fans of Barbarians unique and experimental brews like the Peach Milkshake IPA. They were also highly complimentary of the staff's COVID-19 safety protocols and sanitization within the taproom. The taproom offers delivery, takeout and curbside pick-up.

White Dog Brewing | 4.5 Stars

705 W Fulton St, Boise

The owners of this brewery are the brewers and they love making interesting beers! Highlighted reviews suggest trying the Blackberry Sour or Scotch Ale. Reviewers also really enjoyed the taproom food menu.

Woodland Empire Ale Craft | 4.5 Stars

1114 W Front St, Boise

The first highlighted review made our mouths water because it just sounds like fall in a glass! Woodland Empire has a Crispy Apple Turnover beer described as a cross between a porter and a cider. Reviewers also liked the laid back vibe and gave their bartenders shout outs for their friendly personalities by name.

2800 W Idaho St, Boise

Getting props for being reasonably priced and having some interesting brews like a Koffee Kolsch and Passion Fruit Pilsner, this brewery also has a reputation for making snacking fun. So many reviews mentioned how much they love the fact that they give you free Goldfish crackers.

10 Barrel Brewing | 4 Stars

826 W Bannock St, Boise

While 10 Barrel is technically now part of the Anheuser-Busch family, their beers and food are incredible. One of the first times we ventured out when things started to reopen we went to 10 Barrel. We were really impressed with their COVID-19 safety precautions and loved being able to pay from our phones.
