The two Eagle Road restaurants are less than .1 miles apart from each other.

If your tummy was rumbling last night and you were hoping to quiet it down while enjoying the NBA Playoffs at Pinnacle Sports Grille, you were out of luck. It appears that the restaurant's existence has been virtually scrubbed from the internet.  According to the Idaho Statesman, their Facebook page vanished on May 1 and while their webpage is still live, Google Maps lists the location as "Permanently Closed."

Walk down the street at you'll notice they're not the only restaurant in the Gateway Marketplace that called it quits this week.  Barrel 55 has closed up shop, too. Michael Deeds at the Statesman was able to get a hold of their owner to see what's up.  Cliff Rogers, who also owns Barrelhouse in Garden City, tells the paper there were a couple factors that played into the decision to close 55.  They've seen a 30% drop in business since nearby Rosauers went out of business in December.  He said both 55 and Pinnacle suffered the decline.

With that decline in profits, the price of the property is a little overwhelming for a local business owner.  Neighboring chains like McDonald's, Chili's and Five Guys have corporate money to keep them afloat.
