While we are getting closer and closer to spring here in the Treasure Valley we are just not quite there yet. If your little ones need a little more stimulation and excitement and if you need a break from constantly trying to entertain them then this list is for you.

Discovery Center of Idaho - The Discovery Center of Idaho is interactive entertaining fun with learning along the way through, you guessed it discovery. Exhibits are always changing, but some favorites in the kids area stay put for the most part. It ecitivieses to check back regularly since there will always be new things for you and your kids to explore. They just opened their Titanic Exhibit which I talked about a a few weeks ago. The Boise Aquarium - If your kids love sea creatures, oceans, and animal life then this is a great stop. Explore and get up close with lots of different water creatures big and small. They also have various birds and reptiles as a bonus. The Boise Aquarium has created some fantastic interactive areas to keep kids engaged while learning. Check the website here for more info.

The Children’s Museum of Idaho - We've been talking about interactive places and this one tops it with kids interactive play and discovery. There are play through exhibits for all ages. This is a wonderful place of discovery to do with your children. Find out more on their website here.

Boise Art Museum Kids Events - This is a perfect place to bring your kids, probably a little on the older side, for an educational and art-filled afternoon. They have a lot of activities and are brining many favorites back. Check their website here for an updated schedule on kid’s activities.

Wahooz Family Fun Zone - From laser tag, to arcade games to bowling to a ropes course and more this is a one stop fun shop for kids young and old. That is just the inside stuff there is a whole world of outside activities like go-karts and mini golf if the weather is kind. There is enough entertainment indoors for a ton of family fun though. Vertical View - This place is awesome, they just opened right off I-84 just over a year ago. Walls upon walls upon walls. No matter the age or skill level your kiddo climbers will wear themselves out scaling these rock walls. My 7 year old loves it. Check out pricing and more on their site here.

Planet Kid at The Wings Center - This giant indoor playground looks so fun I want to go back a few decades and give it a whirl. My son Titus went to the childcare at The Wings Center and talked about how fun Planet Kid was a LOT. It really is the perfect place to let your little ones be super active and get that energy out. Urban Air Adventure Park - A trampoline and adventure park right here in your own Treasure Valley back yard!  Complete with climbing walls, a ropes course, warrior course sky rider attraction and even a soft playground for the toddlers. Pojo's - This Treasure Valley family favorite has been around since 1974. Get ready to have a ball with the family with bumper cars, special play area for toddlers, tons of games and you've gotta take a ride on Idaho's only indoor carousel. Check out more here.
