Plan on driving down Eagle road on Thursday?  You won't be able to miss the incredible display at Scentsy Commons! It'll be lit for the first time this season this week!

In 2016, if you laid all the Christmas lights used in Scenty's Christmas display end-to-end it would equal almost the exact mileage of the longest run I did that year, 26 miles...a marathon. In 2017, the display has gotten even larger.  According to the Meridian Press, Scentsy increased the number of bulbs to 724,000.  Laid end to end, that's 43 miles of beautiful, twinkling lights.

Need something to compare that to? The Idaho Botanical Garden's Winter Garden aGlow contains 380,000 lights.

If you want to check it out yourself, Scentsy will host a holiday kick off party on Thursday night from 5-7 p.m.  Stop by for food truck grub, warm holiday drinks and the grand unveiling of this year's display at 6:30 p.m!

If you can't make it out this week, Scentsy is hosting their annual "Point of Lights" Christmas Concert on Monday, December 11th and Tuesday, December 12th from 6:30-8:00 p.m.  The concert features choirs from around high schools in the Treasure Valley and Boise State. They'll offer free warm beverages and other refreshments for attendees.  The entire event is free to attend!
