Two concerts initially scheduled for last year have announced their plans for Treasure Valley dates: Matchbox Twenty and the Goo Goo Dolls.

Matchbox Twenty was first scheduled for September 12th, 2020, was moved to September 14th, 2021. The show has been postponed and rescheduled for June 5th, 2022, at the Ford Idaho Center.

Next, the Goo Goo Dolls concert, initially scheduled for July 23rd, 2020, then rescheduled for July 22nd, 2021, has now been postponed again at the Ford Idaho Center. This time, however, no new date has been announced.

There is also no word on support acts for these shows. When these concerts were announced, Matchbox Twenty would be performing with The Wallflowers, and the Goo Goo Dolls were touring with Lifehouse. There is no mention of either band in the email sent by the Ford Idaho Center to ticketholders.

In both cases, tickets purchased for the original dates will be valid for the new dates. If you have tickets but would like to get a refund, you'll need to contact the Ford Idaho Center Box Office at 208-442-3232 or email them at info.fordidahocenter@spectraxp.com. They are currently working at reduced hours between 10am and 3pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

So far, Jordan Davis at Expo Idaho on June 18th, Backstreet Boys at Ford Idaho Center on August 23rd, Kane Brown at Ford Idaho Center on October 8th, and James Taylor at ExtraMile Arena on October 23rd are still moving forward.

More concerts are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. Live music is coming back. It will be interesting to see how shows will look moving forward.
