As Boise and the Treasure Valley's Official Christmas Music Station, we're already filling up our calendar with as many Christmas events as we possible. The Canyon County Historical Society's presentation of The Polar Express is one of the best but tickets are extremely limited!

Before the special screening, families are invited to a private visit with Santa in the Nampa Train Depot Museum's newly renovated 1942 Caboose. Your ticket will include a professional portrait with Santa. After visiting with the "man in red" you're invited to go back into the museum for cookies and cocoa and to stake out your spot under the big screen for the movie.

In true Polar Express fashion, the historical society invites guests to show up in their PJs just like the believers on the train in the movie. Make sure you pack your favorite blanket and pillow to cuddle up with during the feature film.

There are four screening planned December 7-8 and tickets are $20 a piece for all ages. Members of the Canyon County Historical Society can purchase their tickets through Friday, November 1. Remaining tickets will open to the public on Saturday, November 2.

Screenings will be capped at 40 guests, so the tickets will go fast.  They recommend watching their Facebook page for updates on availability.

Proceeds from tickets sales will directly benefit the Nampa Train Depot Museum.
