A free concert this Sunday in Boise will focus on gratitude, and it will benefit the Idaho Food Bank as they get ready for a big week of service.  This will be a memorable way to kick off Thanksgiving week.

Hymns of Thanksgiving happens this Sunday, November 19 at CenturyLink Arena, and admission is free.  They are suggesting a monetary donation to the Idaho Food Bank to help with Thanksgiving demands, since this is one of the busiest weeks (and seasons) of the year for them.

This will be the 15th year for this musical event, and the Idaho Food Bank says the performers donate their services while sponsors finance the event through Celebrations In Music, Inc., which is an Idaho nonprofit corporation.  They'll have around 300 members in the choir alone, and that's a lot of time donated!

Songs to be performed range from The Star Spangled Banner, to Gloria in Excelsis Deo.  The choir has been rehearsing the songs since early October.

Doors open at the CenturyLink Arena at 6:30pm on Sunday, and it sounds like it will be just the thing to put us in a thankful mindset to start the holiday week.
