A LITE-FM Christmas Wish for Lynette

LITE-FM's Christmas Wish is back, thanks to our friends at Pioneer Federal Credit Union. Our fifth wish to newlywed, Lynette.

When Lynette married Chelsey's dad earlier this year, their family instantly felt whole.  Lynette officially became part of a little family that she treats like her own flesh and blood.  Chelsey is floored by how selfless, giving and gracious her new stepmom is and how she'll literally drop everything to be there for a friend or family member who needs a little help.  Chelsey's little girls absolutely adore spending their time with their new grandma and Lynette is so excited to have these special grandkids in her life.

Unfortunately, the last few months for Lynette and her husband Gene have hardly been a "honeymoon."  They're trying to get back on their feet after experiencing job loss and someone taking money from them.  They're both working day jobs now and have picked up an evening job delivering pizzas in the Meridian area to keep their heads above water.  After paying bills, there's not much left for them to properly enjoy their first Christmas together as husband and wife.  Chelsey's is so touched by her dad's relationship with Lynette that she wanted to do something special for them as they try to get back on their feet.

So LITE-FM came to help make the holidays a little brighter for the couple! Jeff Connell piled into our Team Subaru of Nampa Forester Delivery Sleigh and surprised Lynette with a WinCo Gift Card for she and Gene to make some dinners together, his and her Walmart gift cards so they can surprise each other on Christmas morning and gas cards to fill up their tanks while they're delivering pizzas.  Because the family is so close knit, we wanted to make sure that Chelsey, her girls and their grandparents can enjoy a fun evening together at Winter Garden aGlow and dinner at Smokey Mountain Pizzeria Grille!
