5.11 Tactical Store Opening At The Village This Weekend

5.11, a tactical gear and apparel store will be opening their first Treasure Valley location at The Village At Meridian this Saturday!

5.11 describes themselves as "the global innovator of tactical apparel and gear" and they're getting set to open their first Treasure Valley location at The Village at Meridian this Saturday, the 8th at 10 a.m. According to the official press release, "5.11’s brick-and-mortar retail locations provide an ideal opportunity for local public safety professionals and outdoor adventure enthusiasts to engage with the 5.11 brand and its knowledgeable staff. The store will feature a complete product offering tailored specifically to the region, including head-to-toe apparel and gear for both men and women."

Does it get anymore Idaho than this? This is incredible news for all the super outdoorsy Idaho people in your life. Another interesting note about 5.11 is how they got their start. Also in the press release, it states, "With its roots in servicing the law enforcement, first responder and military communities, 5.11 prides itself on seeking out and hiring former servicemen and women and veterans from the local area, whenever possible."
