UFC Loves Boise

Whether you watched the fight in person or on FS1, the big winner of Saturday Night's UFC fights was the state of Idaho.

It seemed that every combatant had nothing but great things to say about their time in the Treasure Valley. From the UFC announcers to the fighters, everyone loved being here for UFC Fight Night.

Women's Bantamweight Winner Cat Zagano told the Idaho Statesman how much being in the Gem State inspired her to victory. “God I love Boise. This is the perfect place for this to be what happened tonight,” Zingano said. “I came here, we found incredible restaurants, so many people with this light behind their eyes, smiling, happy. The weather is great. There’s just a good energy. I’m so happy the UFC decided to come here, and I hope it brings only good things for this city and this state.”

Co-Main Event Winners Junior Dos Santos, heavyweight, and Sage Northcutt shared their love for Boise right after they won their fights.

Considering such a positive feedback from all participants, look for the UFC to return to the Treasure Valley soon.
