Thanksgiving and Black Friday Hours: Mall and Village Hours

How many of you will secretly be counting down to the exact hour and minute where most of your relatives will be in a tryptophan induced coma? It's nothing personal. You're just secretly looking for a window of opportunity to slip out the back door and go shopping.

If you're heading to one of the Treasure Valley's major retail areas, here's what you need to know!

Boise Towne Square Mall

Hoping to do some Thanksgiving afternoon shopping? Champs Sports opens at 11:59 a.m. Macy's is the first major department store to open at 4 p.m., followed by JC Penney at 5 p.m. Starbucks also opens at 5 p.m. Most of the other stores opening on Thanksgiving evening will open at 6 p.m. Those retailers participating in early shopping are below.

The Village at Meridian

There won't be much shopping at The Village at Meridian on Thanksgiving Evening. Gordman's is the only retail stores opening on Thanksgiving. They open at 3 p.m. and will remain open until 1 a.m. If you're looking for something to eat, Texas De Brazil is serving up a Thanksgiving Menu until 10 p.m. Kona Grill is open until 11 p.m. Both The Village Cinema (11 a.m. - 10:30 p.m.) and their restaurant, Backstage Bistro (4-9 p.m.) are open today. You can also visit the skating rink from 12-6 p.m.

The rest of the retailers will be open on Black Friday. Early openings are listed below. The remaining stores and restaurants will open at 10 a.m.
