When you go into the food biz, you would think one would worry about drumming up enough business to survive, but that's not the problem with this Meridian restaurant. The problem is they are too popular and it's forced them to shut down!

Johnny Bronx Pizza debuted on October 15th, but it has temporarily shut down because of too much business.

According to their Facebook page, when Judah DeVilbiss and his partner came up with the concept for Johnny Bronx Pizza they had no idea they would get as many customers as they have. He says they are super grateful but need to shut down for a few days to revamp some things and that they plan to re-open next week.

On Yelp.com one customer points out that it is really busy during lunch because of High School kids, but that there were only three people there when he went at 2:30 p.m.

Located at 4970 N. Linder Road in Meridian, their menu boasts slices of pizza, whole, pizzas, pasta, subs, Bronx meatballs, mac 'n cheese, and garlic bread. Their slice of pizza and a drink combo is $4.75 and a two slice + drink combo is $7.50.

You know how it is. You always want what you can't have and now I'm totally craving Johnny Bronx Pizza for lunch. Luckily, it looks like we won't have to wait too long for them to re-open.
