LITE-FM's Christmas Wish is back, thanks to our friends at Pioneer Federal Credit Union.

Over the past two weeks, there's been a welcomed change to the Idaho Coronavirus resource page. Rather than the rising case numbers as the first numbers on the page, you're seeing how many of vaccine doses have been administered throughout the state.

Unfortunately, right below that, you're still seeing rather high case numbers statewide. Our health care workers, especially those working with respiratory patients, are exhausted. Mary, a respiratory therapist at St. Luke's, is one of those people and her mom, Lynn, worries about not just her physical health, but mental well being as well.

With the hospital short staffed at times, Mary's stepping up above and beyond her scheduled shifts to help her co-workers feel less overwhelmed. When she does get time off, she doesn't miss a beat stepping back into the role of wife and mom to two little ones.

Lynn asked us to help grant a Christmas Wish that would give Mary a chance to relax and pamper herself for once, while thanking her for everything she's done for our community during the pandemic.
