Tomorrow morning, I have to go to the doctor to get my cholesterol checked. I'm not going to lie, I'm a little nervous about it. I haven't exactly been eating very healthy. Burgers, french fries, pizza, and wings have become the standard instead of the occasional. I feel more and more sluggish, and I know that my LDL and HDL numbers are going to be outrageous.

On a completely unrelated subject, I called the repair company to take a look at the dryer because it seems to be shrinking my clothes.

Back to the subject at hand, because I am not allowed to eat until after 9 am tomorrow, I tried to make up for it. A very greasy burger, followed by a two-liter of diet soda and refrigerated chocolate-covered graham crackers, was my dinner.

Now, the question is, what can I do to fall asleep as quickly as possible so that the morning appointment comes quickly? I have already taken my sleep aid from the pharmacy. I am now waiting for it to kick in while watching a nature documentary, which typically put me to sleep in less than an hour. Most importantly, I went to the gym to see if spending fifteen minutes on the treadmill will trick the doctor into thinking I'm healthy.

As I continue to write this, I look outside at the overcast skies, thanks to the wildfires. I am beginning to feel the sleep aid kick in now, and the sound of my second load of laundry is putting making me tired.
