Christmas comes to town in Meridian this Friday! Join Mayor Tammy, Buddy the Elf and Jovie as they kick off the holiday season!

It all begins with Meridian's 4th Annual Winter Lights Parade at 6:30 p.m.  The route makes it's way down Main Street. With a high in the upper 30s on Friday, you and your family can warm up at one one of the two warming stations along the parade route.  You can find the warming stations (complete with complimentary hot cocoa) at the Treasure Valley Children's Theater and Harvest Church. Make sure you look for Buddy the Elf, Jovie and Santa on the Center Stage after the parade!

The city of Meridian will light their Christmas tree at Generation Plaza following the parade. (BTW, thanks to Dutch Bros you get hooked up with a free glow necklace for the tree lighting.  The choir will hand them out after the parade is over.)

If the kiddos still have energy left, you're invited to stay for a free outdoor showing of How the Grinch Stole Christmas on Idaho & Main and free carriage rides.
