If you want to watch Boise State kick off its football season on September 3rd from the couch, you'll have to be watching from your laptop.

It's online only -- no TV this time.

The season-opener is on the road against Louisiana on Sept. 3, and Boise State announced this week the game will only be available on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app.

The game may be televised in other parts of the country on the American Sports Network, but it won't be on in Boise.  The Idaho Statesman said they tried to negotiate with a local channel to carry the game, but it didn't pan out and that's why we'll have to watch from our computers.

If you're watching from that app, make sure you're on Wifi!  Or you'll be out of data in no time.  KTVB says the last time a Boise State game was not televised at all was three years ago.

The first home game is September 10th against Washington State, and you can see the rest of the schedule on Broncosports.com.  Oh, and the Broncos are playing in Hawaii in November if you're thinking it's better to watch this football stuff in person anyway. One day in the stands, and a week on the beach!  Go Broncos.
