The one thing we love about the Village at Meridian is their offerings are constantly evolving. As new retailers American Eagle and Wetzel's Pretzels put the finishing touches on their new store fronts, another store is closing up shop.

Custom invitation and stationary creator Paperie + Pen announced that they are planning to close their retail location at the Village at Meridian. In the post on their Facebook page, they thanked the thousands of Treasure Valley costumers who trusted them to create custom paper products for personal events like weddings and birthday parties during their run at the Village. As they countdown to an undetermined final day in Meridian, you can take advantage of deep discounts ranging from 25-75%. They also request that you use any outstanding gift cards before April 30.

The minds behind the store aren't saying goodbye to the Treasure Valley, they just want to get out of the retail game.  In the coming months, they plan to reopen as a boutique custom design and photography studio in Downtown Boise.

They join a growing number of retailers leaving the Village.  The Robert Comstock store recently moved from the Village into the old Heirloom Dance Studio at 8th & Idaho in Downtown Boise.  Corner Bakery closed a few months ago and does not currently have plans to re-open in the Treasure Valley.
