I ran straight into one of the gates protecting these at Boise Music Festival on Saturday!

At the end of the day Robin Thicke ended up being my favorite Commercial Tire Main Stage artist.  I was shocked how amazing he was live!  Going into the day, I only knew three of his songs (and technically one of them was a Flo-Rida song) so I was looking forward to Baby Bash's performance the most.  Giggle all you want, but Baby Bash was a major part of my playlist when I was in high school and college!  That's why I made it a point to make a bee-line for the main stage after our friends from Capes & Crowns took off for the day.

I made it backstage just in time to realize that I left behind the one page of the script I needed when I introduced Echosmith in the Expo Building! So I hoofed it all the way back across the grounds to grab it while trying not to miss all of Baby Bash's performance. Because I was in a hurry, I totally wasn't paying attention to where I was going and ran straight into one of the gates surrounding these weird blue and yellow poles. See them there on the left?

Hoping no one saw my clumsiness, I thought to myself "Where'd these come from?! They weren't there last year.  Heck, they weren't a few weeks ago when I was here for a car sale!"

After some digging around, I found a Facebook post from our Western Idaho Fair with a similar photo saying they're part of a new addition to the fair.  That's all they gave us! Teases. What do you think it's going to be?

BTW, if you're trying to plan out your summer the Western Idaho Fair is back at Expo Idaho August 17-26! Make sure you look for us at the Bret Michaels show on Tuesday, August 21.  It's free with your fair admission!
