Toy Story 4; Frozen II Coming to Nampa’s Optimist Park
If you're a parent that turned to Disney+ to help keep the kids quiet while you attempted to work from home, we're not judging. We completely understand.
None of us were prepared to have our routines turned upside down. Balancing your normal at-work to-do list with childcare isn't easy and sometimes you just have to bargain with the kids. "If you're quiet during this movie and don't make a peep, Mommy will take you for ice cream for desert tonight." Worked like a charm until the movie was over and your little ones came running in the room to tell you all the finer plot details in the middle of your Zoom meeting.
Deep down, you much rather have spent the time watching the movie with them. Well, Nampa Parks & Rec is giving you a chance to unwind and enjoy some family time together with their Silver Screen on the Green movie series.
Held at Optimist Park, the Friday night movies allow plenty of space for families to spread out and experience some much needed Disney magic on their inflatable movie screen. Concessions sales begin at 8:30. The films roll at dusk. This week, that movie is Toy Story 4.
Right now, there's still no mask mandate for Canyon County but Nampa mayor, Debbie Kling, has urged residents to wear one when they can't distance themselves from others. It's not a bad idea to bring one with you.
Here's a sneak peek at the movies for the rest of Summer 2020:
- July 24: Toy Story 4
- July 31: Onward
- August 7: Frozen II
