After weeks of trying, days of frustration, and countless hours of refreshing screens, good news came this weekend. I was finally selected to be a virtual fan for WWE's Monday Night RAW. I couldn't believe that my time had finally arrived with all of the efforts that I have given to this project.

I received a confirmation email giving me all of the details that I would need to log on. There was a unique personalized link that I was to click at my assigned call time. Feeling excited and nervous, I followed each detail exactly as they specified. I put on my Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson T-Shirt, clicked my link, and patiently waited for what was next.

I knew that there was a possibility that I wouldn't actually get on. After all, my call time was 30 minutes after the show started. I guess that I was to be a replacement fan that they can go to if another fan does something inappropriate or breaks one of their rules.

As I waited patiently for the screen to change, I felt like the person waiting outside an exclusive club. I was waiting for someone to leave so that I would be permitted entrance. The only difference is that I don't know where I am in line. Unfortunately, in my case, no one ever left the club, and I never got in.

The anticipation to potentially be on National TV was exciting. Even though I didn't make it into the crowd, I had fun getting my space ready and making sure that I was prepared to go should I be called upon. If you don't have anything to do and you plan on watching anyway, it is a pretty fun experience to even get as far as I got. I will definitely be trying to do this again in the future. Hopefully, next time, I will make my big television debut.
