It's December in Idaho, which means inversions and snow.  Check out when the next snow storm is expected to impact your drive to work or home. The National Weather Service Northwest forecast says this week we could see snow on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Expect foggy roads for your Tuesday morning commute.  Tuesday afternoon a light snow falling, less than an inch accumulation, is expected before 11pm.  NWS Northwest says that we could see rain turning into snow.

The snow/rain trend continues Wednesday morning with a 40% chance of precipitation, down from 80% Tuesday.  Less than half an inch of snow is expected to cover the Treasure Valley.

The good news is that sunny skies and highs in the upper thirties are forecast for the rest of the week.  The next chance of the rain/snow wintry mix is Sunday.
