Strong Severe Storms Possible Friday Afternoon

Friday will be the warmest day of the year so far in the Treasure Valley.  We're supposed to be in the 80s with sunshine and that will all change drastically in a matter of hours.  We also may get a very strong, windy, cold storm that same day with temperatures plummeting into the 50s.

Treasure Valley Weather HQ reports that wind will also most likely be a factor with this storm rolling in along with pockets of large hail.  Sounds perfect for my son's first baseball game.  Ughhhh!

This storm will be sporadic.  Not all areas in the Treasure Valley will be affected and there's not enough data yet to tell where or exactly when the storm will hit.  Just be aware, be prepared, and definitely enjoy that beautiful 80-degree weather we get for however long it may be.  We'll keep you posted.
