Third time's a charm. Southwest District Health was finally able to move forward with their next meeting to discuss the best way to slow the spread of COVID-19 in Canyon County, which recently became one of Idaho's hot spots.

At the end of the meeting, they did not move forward with a mandatory mask order for the 2C similar to the one that Central District Health enacted in Ada County last week. Instead, they voted to simply recommend wearing masks in settings that fall in the yellow, orange or red health alert levels on a new tool they rolled out on their website. You can view those classifications on a flyer prepared by Southwest District Health by clicking HERE.
