Mountain West Championship Returns to BSU
We're just starting to thaw out from Saturday's 33-24 Bronco victory over the Utah State Aggies, but we can't wait to do it all over again this weekend!
Boise State's win assured them the Mountain West Conference Mountain Division title. They're ranked higher than the the West Division champions, Fresno State and also won the regular season match-up against the Bulldogs, so that means the Mountain West Championship Game will return to Boise this Saturday, December 1st. Kick-off from Albertsons Stadium is at 5:45 p.m.
Want to go to the game? Tickets for the Mountain West Championship are on-sale now through broncosports.com. Season ticket holders have until Tuesday, November 27 at 7 p.m. to claim the seats that they've enjoyed all season. After that, those seats will be open up to the general public. Those who do NOT have season tickets may still purchase their tickets through the Boise State Athletic Office's website, by calling the athletic office or in-person at the ticket office.
Tickets range $25-$45. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
Boise State's bowl destination will be revealed on Sunday, December 2. It is important to note that the American Athletic Conference Championship game is at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. That means by the time the Broncos step onto the blue, they'll know if Memphis was able to upset UCF. If that were to happen, the Broncos have a very good chance of grabbing the Group of Five's berth in a New Year's Six Bowl Game.
