A few days ago, we asked the question "with so many events/activities being called off, how do plan to fill your time?" Crafting was one of the most popular answers.

If it was at the top of your "social distancing" bucket list and you're short on supplies, you've got an unique opportunity to support a local business while getting everything you need for a little fun! Our friend, Kimberly, tagged us in a post from Hammer & Stain Treasure Valley in Meridian.

Typically, Hammer & Stain is a DIY studio where guests take unfinished wood and turn them into beautiful projects like wall art, coolers, planters and more. They offer step by step workshops from instructors to assist you along the way.

They're one of the businesses taking the advice of the CDC to limit gatherings of 10 or more, so instead of having their face to face workshops they're offering take-and-make kits that include everything you need to craft a project a home! The kits include the wood, one stain color, stencils and up to five paint colors.

Kits will be available for $12, $15 or $20 depending on what project you want to make and will be available at the studio on Wednesday, March 18 from 12-5. The studio is located at 1500 N Locust Grove, Ste. 102 in Meridian.
