LITE-FM's Christmas Wish is back, thanks to our friends at Pioneer Federal Credit Union.

Wendy's dad, Kenneth, has been on quite the roller coaster since last year. He noticed that he was feeling out of breath more often than normal and went to the doctor for a stress test. After the test, they rushed him into surgery where he underwent a six way open heart bypass. His recovery kept him from returning to his job teaching classes at Boise State.

He'd been cleared by his doctors to go back to work and he thought he'd landed a job with the census bureau, only to have it fall through due to the pandemic. He's living on fixed finances and considered refinancing his house to afford a new roof that he desperately needs for his home. That's on hold for now as most of his income is going toward food and keeping his house warm.

Despite what he's been through, Kenneth doesn't want to be a burden on anyone and doesn't ask for help. Wendy sees her dad putting his three kids, his grandchildren and great grandchild before himself and asked if we could put together a Christmas Wish surprise to let him know how appreciated he is by his family.

With a little help from our sneaky friends at Bell Top Roofing, we were able to do that and sent Jaci over in the Treasure Valley Subaru Delivery Sleigh to surprise him. (Click play to hear the surprise!)
