After our months of snow covering much of our state, the melt off over the last week has caused a new set problems with flooding a resulting Disaster Declaration. 

Yesterday, Governor C. L. "Butch" Otter made State Disaster Declarations official in Cassia, Minidoka, Twin Falls, and Washington Counties.  That meant that 17 of our State's 44 counties currently have some kind of standing declaration.

The State of Idaho Emergency Operations Center reports working seven days a week to ensure that the response is being implemented across the state.
