Since we hit the parade circuit two weeks ago, we've taken the LITE-FM van out to over 20 neighborhood parades.

Birthdays. Teacher appreciation. Work Anniversary. 70th Wedding Anniversary. Graduation. It's been an honor to celebrate those big moments with our listeners, but there's one parade we're going to be part of tomorrow that's very special and we'd like to invite you.

Last week, my friend Len reached out to a Facebook group of Marvel fanatics/cosplayers that I'm in to see if any of us would like to be part of a parade for a little boy named JW who's battling a form of cancer called Neuroblastoma. He's about to celebrate his fourth birthday and we were supposed to surprise him on Wednesday, but his family received heartbreaking news from his doctors the very same day.

While being put under for his radiation treatment, he suffered a set back that was a major indication that his little body was done fighting the cancer. He's now under hospice care at home and the car parade has been rescheduled for this Saturday. That's why our friend Annie, the founder of Sunshine for Claire (you may remember her story) jumped into action to help make this a special day, for a special super hero.

The parade is this Saturday, May 9 at 2 p.m. in Eagle. Right now they're searching for superhero cosplayers, personal friends and community supporters to come be part of the parade. I know one of Annie's biggest hopes is to find someone who has a Camaro that looks like Bumblebee from Transformers.

If you'd like to be part of the parade, check out the Facebook event HERE for the map of the neighborhood and sign-up sheet so JW's family has an idea of how many people may be driving by.

We've put in a call to our friend Diana Prince and we know that JW's getting a special from Wonder Woman. Which of YOU heroes will we see there tomorrow?
