In a year where there seem to be fewer and fewer activities to take part in, I have somehow managed not to do the outdoor activities that I had planned on doing. The top of that list floating the Boise River. It's the one thing that everyone that I met when moving to Boise told me was a must-do during the summer.

I've watched as people float the river on rafts and even air mattresses. It looks like a lot of fun, and if I'm going to partake in this Treasure Valley right of passage, I better do it soon because float season is almost over. Just two more weekends left to take the ride through downtown. Saturday's weather looks good, but Sunday will be cold, so really, we're looking at three more days of float season. Happy floating!
