Fido Takes the Plunge At the Western Idaho Fair; Win Tickets for You and Your Dog

If you've never seen "Splash Dogs" at the Western Idaho Fair, you've been missing out!

"Splash Dogs" is one of the COOLEST events you'll find inside the gates at Expo Idaho during the fair.  The show lets you bring your dog into the fair to compete in a dock jumping competition. During the competition handlers (that's you, the dog owner) use a toy to entice their dogs to jump off the dock and into the pool where the toy lands.  That distance jump is measured and the dog that makes it the furthest wins the "splash."

Dock Jumping at the Western Idaho Fair is serious business.  Competitors from nearby states like California, Utah, Oregon and Wyoming or as far away as Iowa and Ohio come to compete against the Treasure Valley's talented pups!

Starting August 13, we'll randomly select one of the pups as our "Dog of the Day" winner! Their human will get an exclusive "Score Four" ticket that includes four fair admission tickets and four ride all day carnival tickets so the family can come cheer them on during their "big splash."

There's no pressure to enter the event if you feel your dog isn't ready yet and just want to see what it's all about this year!
