A LITE-FM Christmas Wish for Yudi

LITE-FM's Christmas Wish is back, thanks to our friends at Pioneer Federal Credit Union. This year's second wish went to Yudi.

Genevieve reached out to us about her incredibly inspiring friend Yudi. Yudi is a refugee from Columbia who came to the United States to create a better life for herself. Unfortunately, finding her American dream hasn't been easy. She's suffered medical setbacks and what's proving to be an incredibly difficult divorce.

Through it all, she always has a smile on her face and loves creating special moments for people, even when things in her own life are difficult. A few of those people include her 17 year-old daughter Evelyn and Genevieve's infant son, who she happily babysits when Genevieve needs a hand. She's also overcome her own physical limitations to start her own business.

We sent our lead delivery elf, Jeff Connell, to surprise Yudi and Evelyn with a little Christmas cheer.  Check out the surprise in the video above! (Click the play button where you see the little birdies to hear it!)
