LITE-FM's Christmas Wish is back, thanks to our friends at Pioneer Federal Credit Union.

Akeem wrote to us about his Aunt Susie. Susie's experienced a year of changes and challenges that she couldn't have prepared for. Last Thanksgiving, her husband passed away unexpectedly due to a heart attack. Susie suddenly found herself trying to adapt to life as a single mom of a teenage daughter.

The holiday season stirs up a lot of feelings of grief and loneliness and this year's going to be even tougher. Not only are Susie and her daughter missing Susie's husband, they're also spending it without Susie's dad who passed away in September of this year.

Susie's been as resilient as she can, but Akeem knows how tough this year has been. He reached out to us to see if we could brighten his aunt's holiday season, telling us that anything, no matter how big or small, we put together would really help her and her daughter out.

We loaded up our delivery elf, Brittiany, into the Treasure Valley Subaru Delivery Sleigh and sent her out to make it happen!  (Click play to hear the surprise!)
