A LITE-FM Christmas Wish for Rachel G.

LITE-FM's Christmas Wish is back, thanks to our friends at Pioneer Federal Credit Union. This year's 17th wish went to Rachel G.

There's no other way to say this. 2019's been a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad year for Rachel. She's going through a pretty nasty divorce. She just put quite a bit of money into her car to get the alternator fixed and put brand new tires on it before the winter only to get in an accident the very next day. The car was totaled and now she's dependent on friends for rides or her parents when she needs to borrow a car.

However, that's not the biggest challenge Rachel's facing. This single mom of a very talented 11 year-old daughter is living with Cystic Fibrosis and it's progressed to the point where she's been hospitalized for two weeks at a time almost every month to help manage it. Her friend, Nicole, reached out to us to tell us this may be Rachel's last Christmas and wanted to do something to bring her some Christmas joy.

We loaded up Jeff in the Team Subaru of Nampa Ascent delivery sleigh to visit Rachel at St. Luke's with a package of goodies that will help her create some happy memories with her daughter.
