A LITE-FM Christmas Wish for Nicole

LITE-FM's Christmas Wish is back, thanks to our friends at Pioneer Federal Credit Union. This year's ninth wish went to Nicole.

This morning's Christmas Wish was one of those wishes that had all of us choked up from the very minute we got on the phone with Michelle. Her heart is breaking for one of her co-worker's daughter in-law. Nicole is only 28 years old and has been battling cancer for the past four years.

Unfortunately, her diagnosis is terminal and it's very possible 2019 might be the last Christmas Nicole will be around to celebrate the holidays with her two children who are only five and three.  They know that mommy's sick, but they don't understand exactly how sick Nicole is. Her two boys sometimes come with her to her treatments and put a smile on the face of everyone in the room.

Michelle wanted to make sure this Christmas was exceptionally special for Nicole, her two boys and her husband, Jeff, who serves our country in the United States Air Force. She wants the boys to build as many memories with mom as they possibly can.

Needless to say, we had plenty of friends say "absolutely" when we asked if they could help us make it happen. We sent our lead delivery elf, Jeff Connell, to surprise Nicole with a jam packed holiday season of family fun.  Check out the surprise in the video above!
