A LITE-FM Christmas Wish for Josselyn

LITE-FM's Christmas Wish is back, thanks to our friends at Pioneer Federal Credit Union. 

Miracle Marathon Day was a whirlwind! Late in the day, Jeff and some of our friends from PFCU showed up at Josselyn's workplace with a pretty big surprise.

Her co-worker, Melissa, nominated her for a Christmas Wish because she's absolutely inspired by Josselyn's story. She had a challenging childhood in her native El Salvador and came to the United States for a better life. As a single mom of five kids ranging from 18 months to high school age, money is really, really tight. That's part of why Josselyn is the first to pick up every extra shift that becomes available at her job.

Melissa visited Josselyn at home a few weeks ago and was heart broken to see that she didn't have a kitchen table for the family to gather around or beds for the kids. That broke our hearts too, so we reached out to our friends at Consign Furniture in Meridian to see if they could help. They were all about helping in a BIG way!

We loaded Jeff up into the Team Subaru of Nampa Ascent Delivery Sleigh to deliver the good news! Check out the surprise in the video above! (Click the play button where you see the little birdies to hear it!)
