LITE-FM's Christmas Wish is back, thanks to our friends at Pioneer Federal Credit Union.

We LOVE when things like this happen! Earlier this week, April nominated her friend Rachel for a Christmas Wish. Almost immediately after that wish played on 107.9  LITE-FM our inbox pinged with a note from Scott nominating April, for a Christmas Wish.

You see, one of our favorite elves has a story of her own. In 2017, she nominated her friend Brenna for a Christmas Wish because her husband was battling a terminal form of cancer. April was moved to do it because she'd lost her own husband to cancer eight years before that. When April's husband passed she was left to raise four kids on her own and has had to battle through some very tough times where it felt like the walls were closing in.

However, she'd never let you know how tough things really were. Instead she handled balancing work, going to school herself and her kids' activities like sports and music with grace. She's also been a cheerleader for her friend's kids along the way. She's the first to try to find help when her friends need it the most and we've come to discover that through granting wishes for several of her friends.

This time around, it felt like April herself needed a little Christmas surprise so we loaded Jeff up into the Team Subaru of Nampa Ascent Delivery Sleigh to drop it off and congratulate her on surviving another round of finals. Check out the surprise in the video above!
