Raise your hand if you endured the world's worst Monday Night Football game simply to see the Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker trailer.

I'm right there with you. I was over the announcers making Tom Brady out to be the second coming long before half time...and was a little relieved to see that there was actually a team in the NFL that's actually more embarrassing than my team (the Browns.) By halftime, I was simply there for Star Wars.

The wait was worth it! The trailer delivered and immediately after it aired, tickets for screenings across the country went on sale. Do you want to be one of the first people to see it? We sought out to find out when the very first screenings in the Treasure Valley would happen and here's what we know right now.

Edwards Boise Spectrum

Select Regal theaters are doing a special Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Opening Night Fan Event on Thursday, December 19 at 5 p.m. The Edwards theater at the Boise Spectrum was lucky enough to be selected as one of those theaters! When you buy tickets to this screening, you'll also receive a collectible pin, lanyard and a FREE large popcorn. Adult tickets for the screening are $15.29. We checked the seating chart this morning and there's less than 50 seats for the screening left. Most of them are in the very front of the theater or on the far ends of the next four rows. The next screening begins at 6:10 p.m.
