Treasure Valley Drive-Ins Plan Enchanted Weekend for Disney Lovers

Break out your mouse ears! If you love Disney movies, this is a great weekend to check out Parma Motor Vu or Terrace Drive-In.

For the past few weeks, looking at the domestic box office tallies has been like taking a trip back in time. Last weekend, The Empire Strikes Back topped the box office. That's something the Star Wars movie first did in 1981 and repeated during it's re-release in 1997.

Why the sudden interest in the second movie in the Star Wars trilogy? With most movie theaters still closed, drive-in theaters are having a moment and are relying on throwback films and older releases to fill their showtimes.

That includes the Treasure Valley's two drive-in theaters! As Disney lovers, we're thrilled with the movie that BOTH Parma Motor-Vu and Terrace Drive-In picked as their first feature for this weekend. They'll be screening the 2017 live action remake of Beauty and the Beast starring Emma Watson as Belle, Josh Gad as LeFou and Luke Evans as Gaston.

Parma Motor-Vu's second feature this weekend is Bohemian Rhapsody. Terrace Drive-In stays under the Disney umbrella with Iron Man.

BTW, I'm a HUGE Marvel fan so I have every intention of seeing my first drive-in movie this weekend...even if I've lost track of how many times I've seen the original Iron Man.
