Santa Fe High Shooter Who Killed At Least 10 is 17-Yr-Old Student
At least 10 people are dead and others are in the hospital now fighting for their lives. We reported the Santa Fe High School shooting earlier this morning with very few details. According to MSN.com we now know the identity of the shooter is 17-year-old Dimitrios Pagourtzis.
Pagourtzis was a junior at Santa Fe High and is currently in custody. The Galveston County Sheriff's Department has a second person of interest in custody but no details have been released yet as to who this is and how they may be involved.
Pagourtzis Facebook page shows him wearing a shirt that says "Born To Kill" on it. He is a member of a dance squad with a local Greek Orthodox church and played football for the high school in his freshman year.
Pagourtzis was allegedly armed with an AR-15-style rifle, a pistol, a shotgun and pipe bombs according to witnesses. His home is currently under investigation and authorities are interviewing anybody and everybody they can. At this time we know at least 20 people were either killed or injured but their identities remain anonymous until authorities can notify family members. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families.
