The Gem State officially moves into Stage 3 of the Idaho Rebound's plan. In Stage 3, non-essential travel can resume. You may not be ready for it quite yet, but when you are how about a road trip to Lagoon?

Lagoon got the green light from their county health department to kick off the season last Saturday. Like many other businesses, they have a pretty extensive list of guest expectations in order to keep visitors healthy while they enjoy Lagoon's coasters, rides and slides. For example, in order to enter the park guests must have a face covering and will need to follow markings meant to spread people out in queue lines while waiting to get on an attractions. Guests are also encouraged to wash their hands frequently throughout their visit. Lagoon's made that easy by adding hand sanitizer stations at the park's entrance, key walkways, all attractions and retail locations.

To avoid having large groups gathering at the park's gates, guests will have to make a reservation online prior to arriving at the park. The reservations are spaced out in 30 minute increments to help control the flow of guests entering Lagoon. You'll need both your reservation confirmation and park passports when you check in at the appropriate time. You can make reservations up to seven days in advance. Rider capacity on some attractions may be reduced to allow people to spread out.

Up for conquering Cannibal, Colossus and Wicked or cool down by running the rapids? Awesome! You have an opportunity to win tickets (good for any day during Lagoon's 2020 season) with LITE-FM on Saturday, May 30! We'll be at the grand re-opening of Platinum Living LLC at 126 Holly St in Nampa from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. playing a socially distant version of our famous "Raffle Game."

Here's how it works:

You'll get ticket one raffle just for coming to say hi.  You can earn additional tickets by downloading our app, liking us on Facebook, and following us on Instagram. It's up to you if you spread out your raffle tickets between the fun prizes we're giving away or if your want to put all of your tickets in the bag for Lagoon passes.

Each bag will be clearly marked with the time of the drawing so you know the appropriate time to come back to the LITE-FM tent. When you come back for the drawing, please be respectful and keep a safe distance between you and other families. I'm loud to begin with and we'll be announcing the winning number over our PA system. There's no need to crowd the tent to hear if you're the winner.

Please do not linger around the tent if you're not in the current drawing or during the time between drawings. You're free to shop throughout the store or wait in your vehicles.

Consider bringing a mask with you. I'll be wearing one to protect you and we'll be wearing gloves while handing out the raffle tickets.

Plan Ahead:

Here are the prizes we're giving away and the raffle times if you'd like to plan your trip around the prize you want to win!
