Did you hear about the woman who was attacked on the Boise Greenbelt just a couple of days ago? According to KTVB, a woman was walking her German Shephard at about 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. She let her dog off the leash, but when it didn't return, she wen toward the river to find him. She found her dog in a man's arms.

He then allegedly hit the woman on the head and started dragging her away. Luckily, the woman was able to fight him off, and her and the dog where able to get away and call the police. Police are continuing to search for the suspect, and have released a sketch.

He is being described as a:

 

  • a white or Hispanic man
  • in his 40's or 50's
  • about 5'6"
  • 150-160 lbs.
  • white and dark grey beard about 4-6" long
  • wrinkled face
  • dirty, wrinkled, hands
  • wearing a newer looking grey zip-up hoodie
