Did you miss Mountain Home Air Force Base and the Idaho Air Guard's flyover salute to healthcare workers last week? You'll get the chance to see something like it on Monday...with a Memorial Day twist!

The Warhawk Air Museum in Nampa's known for honoring our fallen heroes with a warbird flyover over the greater Boise area on Memorial Day. This year, they're expanding that salute to service and sacrifice to include our brave healthcare workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic with a new flight plan.

Monday's flyover will include five World War II era planes flown by pilots based in Idaho and California. It will begin at 11:10 and pass over the Veterans Cemetery in Boise before flying over Downtown Boise's health systems and cemeteries heading back toward West Valley in Caldwell.
