James Bond Actor, Pierce Brosnan, Spotted in Downtown Boise
While Sun Valley is no stranger to celebrity sightings, they're a little more uncommon in Idaho's capitol city!
On Monday night, Moon's Kitchen Cafe on Idaho Street shared these photos of 007 himself smiling with a few of their hardworking employees.
Reading through the comments, Moon's explains that he's here visiting his son and granddaughter. While he was here, he ordered the Moon Babies, an orange juice and a cappuccino.
Looking at his upcoming projects, it appears this trip was all pleasure and not work related. Brosnan is connected to the new Cinderella movie which co-stars Camila Cabello, Idina Menzel and Billie Porter. The project is complete and set for release on Prime Video on September 3.
He's also staring as Dr. Fate in Black Adam, a DC Comics film staring Dwyane "The Rock" Johnson as the title character. IMDB says that film is in post-production and set for release on July 29, 2022. It was shot primarily in Atlanta, Georgia.
His upcoming projects include Youth, a film in which his character is offered the opportunity to undergo a procedure to de-age him to the prime of his life only to have things go horribly wrong. There's no known filming location at this point. He's also connected to The Medusa, a post-Napoleonic France story co-starring Jesse Eisenberg. It's set to be shot in Romania. He's also set to be in a film with Helena Bonham Carter called Not Bloody Likely which is based on the true story of behind the production of the play Pygmalion which eventually inspired the classic film My Fair Lady. The shooting locations for that film haven't been revealed.
Brosnan has shot a film in Idaho before. The 1997 disaster film Dante's Peak may have been set in Washington, but it was shot in Wallace, Idaho! In the movie, the residents of a fictional town must out run a volcanic eruption. Filmmakers had a budget of $115 million to bring the Pacific Northwest set story to life.
