Idaho Is A Top State For RV Tourism

It's not surprising to learn Idaho, with our amazing outdoors and great weather, is a top pick for a specific kind of vacationer:  The RV traveler.

Our state has become an increasingly popular destination for RV travelers form both inside and outside Idaho according to RV-park owners the Idaho Department of Commerce's tourism division.

The Department of Commerce recently conducted a study to see what potential tourists know and think of Idaho as a destination.  The results showed two distinct groups, the "active family" and "outdoor enthusiast" categories who would often choose RV or camping vacations instead of hotels or vacation homes.

During the summer, various Idaho RV parks report being at 80% capacity during the week and 95% weekends.  It's not unusual to see 100% at times during the summer.
