Boise Opens Cooling Station to Help Families Fight the Heat

The last few weeks have certainly demonstrated it's summer in the Treasure Valley, and with triple-digit heat this week and next, the City of Boise has opened a Family Cooling Center.

The center is at the Pioneer Neighborhood Community Center and will be hopent his week and next, daily, from 1:30pm-5:30pm.  This station is specifically for families with children, and will provide a place to escape the intense heat.
