Boise IHOP Restaurants Giving Away Free Pancakes

Mark your calendars! IHOP's annual FREE Pancake Day is back!

Fat Tuesday goes by several different names.  Some call it Mardi Gras or Shrove Tuesday.  In some parts of the UK, it does by "Pancake Day" where people celebrate with Pancake races where contestants run from town to town while flipping pancakes in a frying pan. Here in the United States? We're also celebrating "Pancake Day" on Tuesday, February 25 but without the frying pan race.

Treasure Valley IHOP locations are celebrating by offering a FREE short short stack of their famous buttermilk pancakes to anyone that would like one.  In return for the pancakes, they ask you to leave behind a donation to help children battling life threatening illnesses.  They'll divide up the proceeds between Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, Shriners Hospitals for Children and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

This year, when you go in to scarf down your free pancakes make sure you scan the QR code to get in to win one of the amazing prizes IHOP is giving away this year. The grand prize is Pancakes for Life (that's $15,000 in pancakes from IHOP.) There's also some smaller prizes up for grabs like IHOP gift cards ($500 or $25,) bikes, scooters and more.
