A band that has played in Boise many times, and rocked the Treefort Music Festival a few years back will help launch Bogus Basin's summer concert series this weekend, and the show is free.

If you love a band that never seems to be trying too hard to fit a mold and they always seem to be playing purely for the love of music, Innocent Man might be your group.  They seem chill and real, and like they might have the perfect backdrop soundtrack to your romantic afternoon on a blanket with your sig other who pops the question and create a moment you'll remember forever.  Or, at the very least, this will be a step up from the same ole coffee shop app dates.

Innocent Man released their debut album in 2013, and they say they are "reminiscent of acts like Wilco, The Wood Brothers, The Clumsy Lovers, and Johnny Cash, along with glimmers of Classic-Rock such as Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top & The Band..." They posted a 2016 performance on Youtube that happened at The Record Exchange in Boise.

The Music on the Mountain series was derailed last year, but it's back this year and it's one of 70 events at Bogus Basin this summer.  They are wasting no time getting back to it!  The free Music on the Mountain shows are happening this Saturday, June 26, and then July 24, Aug. 14, and Sept. 4 from 3-6 p.m.

Innocent Man is based in Boise, and the members grew up in McCall and Payette.  Two of the band members have studied law, and the name "Innocent Man" was born out of that.

Live music is back, and Bogus Basin is making it accessible, and FREE starting this weekend.  It's a date.
